Job Description
AHP, Associated Health Professionals, Inc., a Joint Commission Certified supplemental healthcare staffing agency, is seeking experienced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists (DRTs) to support the VA San Diego Healthcare System.
This is an excellent opportunity for Radiologic Technologists seeking flexible per diem work with day, evening, night, and weekend shifts available.
Position Details
- Position: Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT)
- Location: VA San Diego Healthcare System
- Schedule: Per Diem – Days, Evenings, Nights & Weekends
- Pay Rate: $64.00/hour / $512/ 8 hour shift
- Work as many shifts as you'd like—up to 7 days per week, based on monthly scheduling availability.

Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required for Federal Employment (VA) positions.
- Minimum of two (2) years of current, consecutive Diagnostic Radiologic Technology experience; hospital experience preferred.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (R) certification
- Current California Fluoroscopy Permit required
- Current, Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
- Experience operating C-Arm equipment in a clinical or surgical setting.
- Demonstrated experience performing fluoroscopy procedures and assisting physicians during image-guided interventions.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience using PACS and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to caring for Veteran patients.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after December 31, 1959.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, pull, and move patients, equipment, and supplies in accordance with safe patient handling guidelines.
