About the Role -

We're hiring a highly skilled, reliable, and professional General Handyman to help maintain and support our furnished homes across the Treasure Valley. This is a full-time, in-person role averaging 40 hours per week. It's a long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in high-quality work, communicates clearly, and wants to grow with a company that is expanding quickly.

Our Purpose -

We provide immediate, high-quality furnished housing for displaced families during emergencies such as fire and flooding. The work you do directly impacts families during some of the hardest moments of their lives. Because of that, we operate with a high standard of service, urgency, and professionalism.

Compensation & Schedule -

• Full-time, in-person: 40 hours per week on average
• $25/hour equivalent, paid as a consistent salary of $2,000 every 2 weeks
• Paid for 40 hours even if the week is lighter; some weeks slow, some extremely busy, the pay stays consistent
• On-call availability required, though calls are not frequent
• Company-related fuel and job-related expenses covered

Key Responsibilities

• Minor repairs and general upkeep
• Furniture moves and home setup adjustments
• Garage codes, lockboxes, and access troubleshooting
• HVAC filter changes and preventative maintenance
• Fence repair and exterior upkeep
• Lawn care, sprinkler maintenance, and snow removal
• Basic plumbing and electrical fixes within legal limits
• Patchwork, touch-up paint, hardware installs, and general fixes
• Running supply errands and assisting with small projects
• Taking photos and providing clear, timely updates
• Inspections of homes
• Anything else the company may need done here and there

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Physically capable of lifting and moving furniture or equipment

Requirements

• Must live in the Treasure Valley, Idaho
• Must provide your own lawn care equipment
• Valid driver's license
• Must pass a background check
• Prior handyman, maintenance, or contractor experience preferred
• Willingness to be on-call
