Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of vehicles and equipment. The successful candidate will help ensure that all vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready for daily operation through preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment according to established schedules.
• Diagnose and repair gasoline and diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical systems, HVAC, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Perform routine servicing, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake service, and fluid replacement.
• Use computerized diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and parts inventory.
• Coordinate with transportation and operations staff to prioritize repairs and minimize vehicle downtime.
