Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a qualified Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team in Des Moines, WA. In this position, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on production equipment in a refrigerated environment. This is a Direct-Hire position.

Compensation: $22-28/hr, DOE

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2 pm - 11 pm, OT as needed

Location: Des Moines, WA

Responsibilities:

• Implement and adhere to preventative maintenance schedules
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repair, and inspections to track equipment performance and identify recurring issues
• Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring that critical components are always available
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency

Requirements:

• Experience as a maintenance technician who has worked with mechanics, hydraulic, and electrical equipment.
• Be able to handle 50 lbs regularly
• Be able to work in a refrigerated environment throughout your shift
• Be able to pass a drug screen 
• Be able to pass a background check
