Property Maintenance Technician & Guest Services Coordinator

Position Summary

Wilson Premier Properties is seeking a reliable, hands‐on team member to help care for our luxury lakefront homes and support an excellent guest experience. This role focuses on day‐to‐day property maintenance, preparing homes for new arrivals, and responding to guest needs on site in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, light carpentry, painting touch‐ups, filter changes, and troubleshooting common household issues.
• Walk each property before and after guest stays to identify issues, ensure systems are working properly, and confirm the home is ready for arrival.
• Coordinate closely with the cleaning team to support efficient turnovers, including moving supplies, staging outdoor/indoor areas, and addressing last‐minute maintenance needs.
• Respond to guest requests or issues on site in a calm, courteous, and professional manner, helping resolve problems quickly and maintaining our luxury standards.
• Monitor exterior areas (docks, decks, outdoor kitchens, landscaping) and perform routine upkeep and safety checks.
• Report larger repair needs or vendor issues to the owners and help schedule outside contractors when required.
• Keep basic tools, supplies, and equipment organized and ready for use, and maintain simple records of work completed at each property.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in general maintenance, property care, or a similar hands‐on role.
• Comfortable working independently, moving between multiple properties, and managing a simple task list.
• Strong customer service skills and professional communication when interacting with guests and vendors.
• Ability to lift and carry supplies, use basic hand tools, and perform physical tasks indoors and outdoors in varying weather.
• Reliable transportation to properties around Smith Mountain Lake and flexibility to work some evenings or weekends based on guest schedules.
