Maintenance Technician

Currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time temporary to permanent position in Franklin, MA

Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician:

-Ensure efficient, safe and reliable operation of production and facility equipment

-Identify and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues

-Perform routine and emergency maintenance on production machines, HVAC and plant units and other equipment

-Rebuild and replace components

-Provide support to small batch production by assisting in cleanouts, troubleshooting, and reconfigurations

-Minimize downtime by responding quickly to maintenance requests and making repairs in timely manner

-Maintain all maintenance records, logs, and paperwork

-Performed preventative maintenance tasks and make improvements to procedures

-Analyze root causes for reoccurring issues

-Maintain plant infrastructure systems

Requirements of Maintenance Technician include:

-Minimum High school Diploma or GED

-Technical training or associates degree in related field preferred

-At least 3 years manufacturing maintenance experience

-Pneumatic and hydraulic systems experience

-Previous experience with pumps, mixers, pipefitting and rotating equipment

-Some welding and fabrication experience preferred but not required

-Knowledgeable of plumbing and pip fitting techniques

-Informed on Electrical systems and motor controls

Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $35.00/hr
