Sprinkler Technician

Job Title: Sprinkler/Irrigation Technician ($22–$26/hr + Year-Round Work!)

Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 / hour (Depending on experience) Job Type: Full-Time Location: Ogden, Utah

At Sevy Lawn and Landscape, we are looking for a reliable, experienced Irrigation Technician who wants a permanent home. We keep our core team busy all winter with [snow removal / construction projects/ shop work], so you don't have to stress about the off-season. We provide the truck, the tools, and a schedule that respects your time. You provide the hustle and the know-how.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnosing electrical issues, tracking lost valves, and repairing broken lines or heads.

• System Maintenance: Handling spring start-ups, system walkthroughs (Wet checks), and fall winterizations (blowouts).

• Upgrades & Installs: Installing new controllers, retrofitting old systems, and adding new zones.

• Customer Care: Talking directly with homeowners and property managers to explain repairs and offer smart watering solutions.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Experience: 1 to 3+ years of hands-on commercial or residential irrigation experience. You should be able to run a service truck independently.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of timers, valves, wiring, and PVC/poly pipe repairs.

• The Basics: A valid Utah Driver’s License with a clean driving record (you will be driving our trucks).

• Physical Ability: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in the Utah heat.
