Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Aurora, IL 60504

Duration: 11+ Months

Pay Rate: $26.00 - $28.00/hr. On W2 Without any Benefits

Shift: Normal Business Hours

 

Interview Required

 

·        The Maintenance Technician provides service functions throughout facilities. In addition to completing assigned duties, continuous improvement effort relating to cost, quality, and delivery is expected.

 

Key Responsibilities

·        Contacting Production supervisors, Model Shop associates, Manufacturing Engineering, or other departments as needed to resolve equipment issues

·        Performing scheduled preventative inspections and maintenance on facilities and machines.

·        Repairing HVAC, compressed air, and manufacturing equipment as required.

·        Installing new equipment per manufacturer's recommendations.

·        Installing and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services.

·        Performing light to moderate carpentry and construction functions.

·        Performing courier services for mail, special documents, materials, and associate commuting purposes.

·        Training new associates in maintenance and facility service functions.

·        Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements For Consideration

·        High school degree or equivalent.

·        Computer literacy using Microsoft Windows.

·        1-2 years related Maintenance experience and/or training.

·        Following, understanding, and ensuring compliance with required company and department SPIs, policies and procedures.

·        Determining proper job assignments using the maintenance system.

·        Maintaining service records on equipment safely perform biohazard clean up.

·        Recommending measures or changes to improve equipment performance, safety enhancement, energy management, and facility performance.

·        Flexibility in personal schedule to meet facility needs outside normal working hours.

·        Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

·        Many duties require walking, standing, bending, or climbing for extended periods.

·        Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control training and associated immunizations.

·        Must hold valid driver’s license for local deliveries.
