Step into an impactful opportunity as a School Psychologist supporting students across a district-wide setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role offers the chance to provide essential psychological services primarily at the elementary level, with occasional involvement at other grade levels (K-12). You’ll serve as a key resource for implementing IEPs and intervention plans, and conducting direct student evaluations. This assignment is scheduled for 35 hours per week, running from late August through mid-June.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related field (strongly preferred)
  • Eligible for or holding a New Hampshire School Psychologist endorsement (0046), or Associate School Psychologist and New Hampshire Psychologist License
  • School-based experience, especially at the elementary level, is advantageous
  • Solid understanding of special education processes, IEP creation, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Strong abilities in assessment, intervention, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Clear communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver psychological assessments and direct evaluations for K-12 students, focusing primarily on elementary grades
  • Develop, write, and help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
  • Consult with educators, families, and other service providers regarding student needs and appropriate supports
  • Lead or participate in eligibility, planning, and team meetings
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and recommendations for at-risk students as needed
  • Document services, assessment results, and progress for compliance and reporting
