Qualifications:

  • Required licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Illinois
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and implementing interventions
  • Understanding of various disabilities and ability to tailor supports as needed
  • Effective communication and consultation skills with students, families, and staff
  • Familiarity with current practices in school-based mental health and behavioral interventions

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a range of psychological services including assessment, counseling, and consultation
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to determine eligibility for special education services
  • Develop and help implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral health within school settings
  • Offer guidance and resources to educators and families to foster student success
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in line with state and district guidelines
