Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner in Stuart, Florida - First Assist Focus, Low Callback Volume
Focus on cardiothoracic surgical first assist and inpatient rounding with a CABG-heavy case mix and only 1-2 reported callbacks per month.

Practice & Cases
- Cardiothoracic surgery first assist with CVICU and telemetry rounding
- Approximately 75 percent CABG and 25 percent valve and aortic surgery
- Endoscopic vein harvesting required
- Approximately 20-30 surgeries per month with at least four providers per shift
Schedule
- Monday through Friday daytime coverage
- Rotating weekends as needed
- Minimum six nights of call per month
- Night and weekend call coverage as needed
Requirements
- Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Board Certified
- Active Florida license required
- Endoscopic vein harvesting certification preferred
