Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
Join a growing equipment manufacturer as a first-shift CNC Machinist, working primarily on Mazak CNC vertical milling machines in a clean, modern, and team-oriented machine shop. You will take ownership of full machining operations from setup through final inspection, using Mazak Vertical Machining Centers with Smooth G controllers to produce high-quality precision parts.
Pay - $28-30/hr
1st shift - 7:00am - 3:30pm M-F
Responsibilities
- Set up Mazak CNC vertical milling machines, including the 3-axis EZ 32 Mill, to meet job specifications and production requirements.
- Load, verify, and run CNC programs on Mazak Vertical Machining Centers with Smooth G controllers.
- Perform full setups, including selecting tooling, touching off parts, establishing work offsets, and confirming correct fixturing.
- Operate CNC mills safely and efficiently throughout the production run, monitoring machine performance and part quality.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining processes, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Use precision measuring tools to inspect and verify dimensions, ensuring parts meet required tolerances and quality standards.
- Make G & M code edits as needed to fine-tune programs and optimize machining performance.
- Inspect final parts and document results, addressing any issues or nonconformances promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with shop standards.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and support continuous improvement in the machine shop.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of CNC machining experience, with direct Mazak mill experience highly preferred.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC mills, including performing full setups from start to finish.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Hands-on experience using precision measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and other inspection instruments.
- Experience working with Mazak Vertical Machining Centers, including machines with Smooth G controllers.
- Capability to perform G & M code edits to adjust programs and improve machining performance.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, precise parts.
- Ability to work independently on first shift while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Dover, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $62400.00/yr.

Bell-Mark contributes half of the yearly deductible to the employee’s HSA account each year, in quarterly installments. For example, each quarter a single coverage employee would have $312.50 deposited into their HSA account by Bell-Mark. Machine shop is newly built and climate controlled.
