Float Pool Med Surge RN | $25k SOB

We are seeking an experienced Float Pool Registered Nurse (Med-Surg) to join a collaborative acute care team. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple units while delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Rotating Weekends)
• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends)
• Three 12-hour shifts per week

Compensation & Incentives

• Flat Rate: $43.00/hour (regardless of years of experience)
• Night Differential: $4.25/hour
• Weekend Differential: $3.00/hour
• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (Days) | $25,000 (Nights)
• Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care across multiple Med-Surg units.
• Perform nursing assessments, establish diagnoses, and implement care plans.
• Serve as a patient and family advocate while maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN License or eligible Compact RN License.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Med-Surg RN experience within the last year (required).
• Candidates must be currently working in a Med-Surg setting.
• Comfortable floating to multiple units.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
• AHCA Level 2 background screening and fingerprinting required.

Important Notes

• Candidates must live within a commutable distance of Gainesville, FL
• Must be comfortable with a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Candidates completing a virtual interview must also attend an in-person interview/facility visit before an offer can be extended.
