Retail Assistant Manager

The Retail Assistant Manager plays a key role in supporting store operations and supervising a small team of fewer than 10 employees. This full-time, on-site position ensures excellent customer service, effective inventory management, accurate sales monitoring, and smooth store functioning. The Assistant Manager supports visual merchandising efforts and is responsible for preparing daily sales reports as well as weekly inventory and sales summaries. Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a small team of less than 10 staff members
• Deliver excellent customer service and promptly resolve conflicts
• Manage inventory control and ensure accurate stock levels
• Monitor daily sales performance and prepare detailed reports
• Train, develop, and schedule staff to maintain efficient store operations
• Support visual merchandising and store layout initiatives
• Handle cash transactions and maintain point of sale (POS) systems
• Prepare daily sales and weekly inventory/sales summaries for management

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in retail management
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong skills in retail management, customer service, and inventory control
• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Experience in staff training and development
• Effective conflict resolution and cash handling abilities
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
