Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate our drill press and threading machines, achieving high quality and production rates. The role involves turning random bars for forgings, assisting with broken bolts in tooling, setting up manual machines, and running the surface grinder for chasers or alignment needs. A positive work ethic and team attitude are essential.
Responsibilities- Operate drill press and threading machines efficiently.
- Turn random bars for forgings and assist with broken bolts in tooling.
- Set up manual machines at A-B level.
- Run the surface grinder for alignment tasks.
- Read or learn to use micrometers, calipers, and other inspection equipment.
- Minimum 3 years of CNC experience.
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with hand tools.
- Working knowledge of industrial safety standards and procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with press and machine operating.
- Ability to interpret blueprints.
- Troubleshooting and mechanical skills.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes two shifts, with 1st shift running from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm Tuesday through Friday, and 2nd shift from 7:15 am to 5:45 pm Monday through Thursday. Employees should be prepared to work in a noisy, industrial setting with potential hazards, including exposure to moving mechanical parts and the risk of electrical shock. The position requires physical stamina, with the ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects. Vision abilities such as close vision and depth perception are necessary to perform tasks safely and effectively.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00/yr.
