Job Title: Float Pool RN – Medical Surgical

Location: Gainesville, FL

Shift Details:

• 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Rotating weekends)
• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating weekends)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Flat Rate: $43/hour (based on experience)
• Shift Differentials:
• • Nights: +$4.25/hr
  • Weekends: +$3/hr
• Sign-on & Relocation: Case-by-case

⚠️ Important: Candidates must live within a commutable distance (less than 60 minutes) and be comfortable with a 7:1 patient ratio.

Job Overview:

Seeking an experienced Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical to join a collaborative and high-performing team. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple units, providing diverse clinical experience while delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a patient advocate ensuring privacy and quality care
• Perform nursing assessments and develop care plans
• Deliver patient-centered care across multiple Med-Surg units
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ year of current acute care Med-Surg RN experience (REQUIRED)
• Must be currently working in Med-Surg
• Active Florida RN license or compact license (FL license required within 60 days)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
• Willingness to float across multiple units
