House Supervisor - Registered Nurse | Behavioral Health | Full-Time

Summary

We are hiring a House Supervisor – Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, permanent opportunity in Conroe, TX. This leadership role is ideal for experienced Behavioral Health RNs who are passionate about providing high-quality psychiatric patient care while overseeing nursing operations, staffing, and clinical excellence during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing and hospital operations during assigned shifts.
• Manage nursing staff schedules and ensure appropriate staffing coverage.
• Supervise staff performance, provide coaching, and support professional development.
• Assist with payroll, attendance tracking, and time-off approvals.
• Provide direct patient care and support patient admissions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with TJC, state, federal, and Medicaid regulations.
• Conduct staff evaluations, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Support the Director of Nursing with departmental operations and meetings.
• Perform patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and promote quality patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Behavioral Health or Psychiatric Nursing experience required.
• Nursing Leadership or Management experience required.
• Experience with psychiatric, chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, or geriatric behavioral health patients preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire.
• De-escalation Certification required within 30 days of hire.
