Job Description
Job Title: Float Pool RN – Medical Surgical
Location: Gainesville, FL 32614
Salary: $43/hour (Flat) + Nights $4.25 diff + Weekend $3 diff
Job Summary:
Float Pool RN responsible for providing patient care across multiple Med-Surg units, performing assessments, care planning, and ensuring quality patient outcomes.
Key Requirements:
- 1+ year current Med-Surg RN experience (must be actively working in Med-Surg)
- Active Florida RN or compact license (FL license within 60 days)
- Graduate of accredited nursing program
- BLS within 30 days
- Flexible to float across units
- Comfortable with 7:1 patient ratio
- Must live within commutable distance (<60 mins)
Shift:
- 3x12 hours (Days: 7a–7p / Nights: 7p–7a)
- Rotating weekends
Additional Notes:
- In-person interview required (may include shadowing/tour)
- Sign-on & relocation: Case by case
