Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) to provide mobile diagnostic imaging services throughout the San Jose area. In this role, you will travel to healthcare facilities to perform high-quality portable digital X-Ray examinations and, when required, EKG testing. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while maintaining excellent communication with healthcare staff and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform portable digital X-Ray examinations using DR and CR imaging equipment.
  • Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically accurate images for radiologist interpretation.
  • Perform EKGs when required and transmit results for cardiologist review.
  • Transport portable imaging equipment safely into nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare facilities.
  • Upload images and complete required documentation daily.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and billing documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with dispatch, facility staff, and management.
  • Ensure imaging equipment and company vehicle are maintained in good working condition.
  • Follow all company policies, radiation safety guidelines, and infection control procedures.
  • Deliver compassionate, professional patient care while working independently.

Qualifications

Required

  • ARRT Certification.
  • Active California Radiologic Technologist License.
  • Limited California License is NOT accepted.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel between healthcare facilities.
  • Ability to meet all health and operational requirements.
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to push and pull portable imaging equipment weighing approximately 50-100 lbs (assisted by ramps and pulleys when applicable).
  • Frequently move equipment throughout healthcare facilities.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and transport equipment throughout the workday.
