\n \nOpportunity:
\nRN - Oncology Nurse
\nJob Details:
\n• Work Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
\n • No weekend or holiday requirements
\n • No on-call or standby requirements
\n • No floating requirements
\n • Ambulatory/outpatient radiation oncology setting
\n • Work alongside a Medical Assistant and RN in the clinic
\n • Treat patients with diagnoses including prostate cancer, head and neck cancers, breast cancer, metastatic disease, lung cancer, brain cancer, skin cancer, lymphoma, and mesothelioma
\n • Perform peripheral IV insertion, Power Port access and de-access, and contrast infusion during CT
\n • Triage for contrast reactions and assess for radiation side effects
\n • Provide patient education related to radiation side effects
\n • Administer IV hydration at set rates
\n • Chart using Cerner and Aria EMR systems
\n • Required certification: BLS (AHA)
\n • Radiation Oncology Nurse Certification preferred but not required
\n • Wear any color scrubs with solid color pants
\n • BSN not required

\nThis facility operates an ambulatory and outpatient radiation oncology unit, providing specialized cancer care to patients with a wide variety of oncological diagnoses. The unit is supported by an onsite physician Monday through Friday and is equipped with modern EMR systems to support comprehensive patient care. The facility emphasizes a collaborative clinical environment with a focus on patient education and high-quality oncology services.
