Job Requirements\n

• Active Wisconsin RN license
\n
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department, ER, or acute care nursing experience

• BLS certification
\n
• ACLS certification
\n
• PALS certification
\n
• NIHSS certification
\n
• TNCC or TNS certification
\n
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment
\n

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide safe, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
\n
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations
\n
• Administer medications and treatments according to nursing standards and state practice guidelines
\n
• Document patient care accurately and in alignment with standards of care
\n
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support optimal patient outcomes
\n
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on patient and family needs
\n
• Participate in quality improvement, shared governance, and peer review activities
\n
• Use critical thinking and clinical expertise to promote patient safety, patient experience, and timely escalation when needed
\n
• Provide support and clinical guidance to other units as part of the broader hospital care team
\n
