ACUTE PHARMACIST POSITION

- BLS AHA required \n
- NE License required \n
- At least 1 year experience working in a hospital pharmacy required \n
\n
1. General job duties. Types of procedures required.
\n- \n
- Critical Access hospital with ED, Swing beds, and small outpatient/oncology infusion center. \n
2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
\n- \n
- EHR- Cerner \n
- ADS- Omnicell \n
3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.
\n- \n
- IV compounding, 1 year hospital experience required, Chemo familiarity, but previous experience not required. \n
4.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)

- BLS \n
- NE license \n
5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)

- 40 hrs preferred, weekend Saturday shift rotation also preferred- but current staff is willing to be flexible. \n
- Pharmacy hours are 7am-5pm M-F Sa 8am-12pm. Closed Sundays and 6 holidays/year. \n

- 25 beds avg census ~12. ED and swing beds. \n

- Scrubs or professional. Close toed shoes. \n
10. Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.

- IV /Haz compounding, EHR, Omnicell etc are handled by Pharmacy Director and staff \n
