Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide direct post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical or procedural sedation \n
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs, airway status, and level of consciousness during the recovery phase \n
- Administer medications and interventions as ordered to manage pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms \n
- Communicate effectively with surgical and anesthesia teams regarding patient status and care transitions \n
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record \n
- \n
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington or compact eligibility \n
- Current BLS certification \n
- Current ACLS certification \n
- Prior experience in a PACU, critical care, or post-operative nursing setting \n
- \n
- CPAN (Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse) certification \n
- Experience with a diverse patient population across multiple surgical specialties \n
- \n
