Duties:

\n

Job Summary:
\n The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.
\n -Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient’s needs.
\n -Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
\n -Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
\n -Initiates assessment based on the patient’s problems or needs, the physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
\n -Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
\n -Manages care of patients.
\n -Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
\n -Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
\n -Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
\n -Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
\n -Critical care experience highly preferred.
\n -Prior experience with EPIC and Sensis highly preferred.

\n

 

\n

Required Hard Skills :Circulating nurse, EPIC, Mac-LAB, Impella, balloon Pump, PCI, Right heart cath, Left Heart Cath

\n

Required Soft Skills  : Circulation during pacer insertion experience, Pulmonary Embolism case experience 

\n

 

\n

Required Certifications & Licensure:
\n -NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
\n -BLS-AHA.
\n -ACLS-AHA.
