Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data, providing age-appropriate nursing interventions consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice. \n
- Foster an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for patients, families, and visitors. \n
- Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patients and staff. \n
- Apply standard work practices in relation to Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators. \n
- Precept and mentor novice employees to contribute to overall department performance. \n
- Float to assist in other like units as needed and perform all other duties as assigned. \n

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of South Carolina or compact licensure eligibility. \n
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing. \n
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing standards of practice and evidence-based care. \n
- Ability to work night shift in an onsite clinical environment. \n
- \n
- Experience precepting or mentoring new nursing staff. \n
- Familiarity with hospital-system initiatives and evidence-based practice development. \n
- Demonstrated commitment to continued professional growth and ongoing education. \n
