\n Pay Package
\n •    Weekly Gross Pay: $2,806 (estimate; taxable + non-taxable combined)
\n •    Taxable Hourly Rate: $39.00/hr
\n •    Overtime Rate: $58.50/hr (1.5x, for hours worked beyond 40/week)
\n •    One-Time Travel Allowance: $500
\n •    Pay package may include a combination of taxable wages and non-taxable stipends based on candidate eligibility (tax home status). Final breakdown provided at offer.
\n The Opportunity
\n Join the Public Health Nursing Department at a federally operated health center serving the Yakama Nation Reservation. This role focuses on communicable disease surveillance, case management, and community-based health promotion — a mission-driven position with a consistent Monday-through-Friday schedule and no rotating shifts or weekend coverage. When field travel is required, Government-employed staff provide transportation; you will not be required to drive a personal vehicle for outreach.
\n What You'll Do
\n •    Conduct case management, outreach, and contact tracing for communicable diseases (e.g., tuberculosis, STIs, measles)
\n •    Perform Directly Observed Therapy (DOT) for tuberculosis and other conditions as required
\n •    Coordinate with local, state, and federal public health departments on continuity of care and data reporting
\n •    Order, review, and act on lab results; provide patient notification, counseling, and education
\n •    Administer medications, immunizations, and perform community/home field visits
\n •    Develop and deliver public health education for individuals, families, and community groups
\n •    Document all activity in the EHR or approved public health information systems
\n Requirements
\n •    Bachelor's degree in nursing from a state-accredited professional nursing program
\n •    Current, unrestricted RN license in a U.S. jurisdiction
\n •    Current BLS certification
\n •    Minimum 1 year of experience in public health nursing or community outreach
\n •    Demonstrated knowledge of communicable disease control and contact tracing protocols (CV/resume must reflect this)
\n •    Demonstrated ability to coordinate with public health entities and interdisciplinary teams
\n •    Ability to successfully complete a federal background investigation, fingerprinting, and facility credentialing prior to start (required for all federal health center placements)
