Job Requirements\n

• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience in PCU, telemetry, or medical-surgical nursing
\n
• Active RN license eligible for work in Vermont
\n
• Experience providing care in an acute care or progressive care unit environment
\n
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital setting
\n
• Comfort with charge nurse responsibilities as needed
\n
• Willingness to float to other units based on patient care and departmental needs
\n
• Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills
\n
• Ability to attend required quarterly education sessions
\n

Responsibilities\n

• Provide high-quality nursing care to PCU, telemetry, and med-surg patients
\n
• Deliver safe, compassionate care during 12-hour overnight nursing shifts
\n
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in clinical status
\n
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team
\n
• Support charge nurse functions when assigned
\n
• Float to other units when patient care needs require additional support
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
\n
• Contribute to a positive, dependable, patient-centered care environment
