Job Requirements\n

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
\n
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience required
\n
• Must be able to circulate in the OR
\n
• Experience with heavy ortho, urology, spine, and robotic procedures preferred
\n
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
\n
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a high-acuity surgical setting
\n

Responsibilities\n

• Assess patients and contribute to individualized perioperative plans of care
\n
• Circulate for surgical procedures and support safe, efficient OR workflow
\n
• Monitor patient status and promptly communicate changes to the care team
\n
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff to deliver quality care
\n
• Provide explanations and instructions to patients and families as needed
\n
• Maintain accurate, complete documentation in accordance with clinical standards
\n
• Participate in call coverage and support departmental needs
\n
• Contribute to a positive, professional workplace environment focused on excellent outcomes
