\nMRI Technologist - MRI
\nJob Details:
\n• Variable shift schedule including:
\n - Friday: 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM
\n - Saturday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
\n - Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
\n - Monday: 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM
\n • No on-call responsibilities
\n • May be scheduled for some holidays
\n • Weekend rotation required; could be every weekend depending on requisition
\n • Schedule made quarterly and available a few weeks to months prior to the quarter beginning
\n • Minimum 2+ years of MRI technologist experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
\n • Perform imaging for inpatient and outpatient populations, primarily adults
\n • Case types include neuro, spine, tumor workups, cord compression, cardiac imaging, breast, enterography, abdominal, whole body, ortho, and spectroscopy
\n • IV starts required (hard stop requirement)
\n • EPIC EMR experience required
\n • PACS: Change Healthcare
\n • Equipment: Siemens Magnetom Aera 1.5T MRI
\n • Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-MR
\n • Scrub color: Any solid color
\n • Free parking available
\n • No floating to other departments
\n • 1 shift of unit orientation provided following New Employee Orientation (NEO)
\n • Weekend staffing includes 1 MRI Tech and an imaging assistant; multiple teammates staffed during weekdays
Facility:
\nThis facility is a Level III Trauma Center and Acute Stroke Ready Center, recognized with Magnet Designation for excellence in nursing and patient care. The facility operates a dedicated MRI suite and provides comprehensive imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations. On-site support includes a respiratory therapist, imaging assistant, additional technologists, and hospitalist coverage available 24/7.
