This full-time, direct hire opportunity is designed for an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a strong orthopedic focus who is passionate about improving mobility, reducing pain, and helping patients achieve exceptional clinical outcomes.The selected provider will collaborate with a physician-led orthopedic team to deliver comprehensive musculoskeletal care, evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and educate patients throughout every stage of recovery. This position offers a predictable weekday schedule, allowing providers to maintain an outstanding work-life balance while practicing in one of the Philadelphia suburbs.Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive orthopedic evaluations, physical examinations, and follow-up assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and multidisciplinary care teams regarding patient management and recovery plans.
- Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic imaging, laboratory studies, and clinical findings.
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, rehabilitation, and injury prevention.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives that support clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
- Coordinate care with rehabilitation providers, physical therapists, specialists, and primary care providers.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining the highest clinical and ethical standards.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license or eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure.
- Minimum of one year of Nurse Practitioner experience in orthopedics, musculoskeletal medicine, sports medicine, surgery, urgent care, or related specialty.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication, patient education, and documentation abilities.
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Current BLS certification.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- U.S.-based applicants only.
- Previous orthopedic clinic or orthopedic surgery experience.
- Experience managing fractures, joint disorders, sports injuries, and postoperative orthopedic patients.
- Strong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and rehabilitation principles.
- Experience utilizing electronic medical record systems.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage patient encounters while collaborating effectively with physicians.
- Stable employment history demonstrating increasing clinical responsibility and long-term commitment.
- Active Nurse Practitioner license or eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure.
- Experience delivering advanced practice care within orthopedic or closely related clinical settings.
- Strong orthopedic assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education skills.
- Excellent collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered orthopedic care.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Meets all required qualifications while demonstrating several preferred qualifications.
- Direct orthopedic Nurse Practitioner experience.
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal medicine, fracture management, and postoperative care.
- Experience improving patient outcomes through education and collaborative care.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven history of delivering high-quality clinical care and patient satisfaction.
- Stable employment history demonstrating professional growth and increasing clinical responsibility.
