Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Restorative Aide to join our team at Serenity Estates of Freeport, a renowned long-term care facility in Freeport, IL. As a Restorative Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting our residents with their daily activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

• Help residents with daily living tasks, such as eating, walking, and transferring

• Assist with meal preparation and food service

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents

• Document resident care activities and progress

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff

Requirements

• CNA certification required

• Ability to lift, transfer, and ambulate residents safely

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate and patient demeanor

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
