Certified Substance Abuse Counselor

When our clients come to our treatment center, we work to address their needs as they move forward in their recovery journey. We strive to help them work through any underlying issues that are fueling their addictions.

We are seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team and provide comprehensive treatment services to individuals struggling with addiction. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling, assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and providing education on addiction medicine. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and be committed to providing quality care to those in need.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to individuals with substance abuse issues.
• Develop treatment plans and provide referrals to appropriate resources.
• Provide crisis intervention services.
• Conduct assessments of clients' mental health, substance abuse, and other related issues.
• Provide education on addiction and recovery to clients and their families.
• Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills and relapse prevention strategies.
• Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:

• Addiction counseling: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Substance Abuse Certificate (Required)
