Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at our Specialists One-Day Surgery Center!

We're looking for a motivated, outgoing CNA to join our team! In this role, you'll support the day-to-day operations of the center, working alongside our nursing staff, supervisors, and the full care team to keep things running smoothly and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Monday-Friday 10am-6:30pm. No weekends, holidays or on call. Free parking and pay based on years of experience!

Responsibilities:

• Assists PACU (or OR) nurses as needed.
• Cleaning stretchers/chairs and rooms in 23-hour area in between patients according to facility specifications.
• Distributes linen throughout the facility, removes soiled linen to the soiled linen room. May be required to fold linen. Distributes scrub attire clothing to staff locker rooms. Maintains stock level of blankets in warmers.
• Obtains and accurately documents patient vital signs and pain level.
• Assists in ordering of supplies, maintaining stock levels of supplies in the nursing areas. Assists in unloading of stock and deliver of stock throughout the building.
• Changing depleted oxygen tanks in a safe manner.
• Assists with patient flow, transfers and toileting needs.
• Assisting in prepping/clipping patients.
• Transports patients safely using appropriate means.
  Provides a friendly, safe, timely, quality driven environment responsive to the needs of the customers.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program
• Must be 18 years or older
• CPR/BLS preferred or willingness to obtain certification
• Prior Ambulatory Surgery Center experience preferred but not required. Extensive orientation offered.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills;
• Strong data entry skills;
