Work Schedule
  • FullTime, PartTime, or PRN options available
  • Pay rate dependent on experience
What You’ll Do as Our Occupational Therapist
  • Evaluate and treat residents with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care using evidencebased practice
  • Provide skilled, medically necessary OT interventions to promote recovery and functional independence
  • Administer rehabilitation techniques including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
  • Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes and recommend modifications or referrals
  • Educate residents, families, caregivers, and staff regarding treatment goals and progress
  • Communicate effectively with the Director of Rehabilitation Services and interdisciplinary team
  • Complete timely, accurate documentation and record treatment minutes per regulatory requirements
  • Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries
  • Participate in care conferences, rehab meetings, trainings, and inservices
  • Supervise and support OT assistants, rehab aides, and students as assigned
  • Maintain compliance with NBCOT, AOTA, Kansas practice acts, ethical standards, and facility policies

This position reports directly to the Director of Rehabilitation Services.

What We’re Looking for in YOU
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Active Kansas Occupational Therapist license
  • 2+ years of experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills
  • A passion for helping seniors maintain independence and dignity
  • Ability to thrive in a teambased, residentfocused environment
