HHA/PCA

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable care professional to provide essential personal care and support to individuals in their homes. In this role, you will help promote comfort, safety, independence, and dignity while assisting with daily living activities and offering meaningful companionship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
• Provide companionship and emotional support to help maintain a positive daily routine
• Support with light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and other household tasks as assigned
• Remind individuals to take medications as directed, when permitted by care guidelines
• Observe and report changes in health, behavior, or daily functioning to the appropriate supervisor
• Help with safe transfers, ambulation, and use of assistive devices as needed
• Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentation when required
• Promote a safe, clean, and respectful home environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home care, personal care, or a related support role preferred
• Current certification or eligibility for certification as a home health aide or personal care aide, depending on state or agency requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills and a caring, professional approach
• Ability to follow instructions, care plans, and safety procedures
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to support client schedules, if required
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist individuals safely, within role guidelines
• Basic reading, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy at all times
