Occupational Therapist Assistant

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. As an integral member of our healthcare staff, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists to provide high-quality care and support to patients in the comfort of their homes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional capabilities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Work directly with patients to implement interventions, including exercises, activities, and techniques.
• Monitor and document patient progress, and communicate findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies for improving daily functioning.
• Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and home modifications, as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
