Position Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct daily care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. This role supports residents with activities of daily living while ensuring dignity, safety, and comfort in accordance with individualized care plans and facility policies.
Key Responsibilities
Provide routine daily care to assigned residents under the direction of licensed nurses
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, and comfort needs
Support a positive, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
Promote emotional, social, and physical well-being of residents
Qualifications
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania (or eligibility)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Ability to work in a fast-paced long-term care environment
Experience in skilled nursing preferred, but not required
