Level 1 Medication Aide

Bethany Care Center is currently seeking Level 1 Medication Aide(LIMA) to join our team.

***NIGHT SHIFT**** DAY SHIFT***

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Preparing medications for patients

·         Administering various types of medication throughout the day

·         Recording every dose of medication administered

·         Observing patients to look for changes

·         Notifying nurses about changes or medical issues with patients

·         Following all safety protocols

·         Assist Residents with daily living activities, to include, delivering meals, and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout scheduled shift

·         Help Residents with personal hygiene

·         Assist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements

·         Making the Resident's beds and keeping their living areas clean and tidy

·         Assist other staff in other departments as needed

·         Adhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and procedures

·         Abide by all federal, state and local requirements and standards

·         Maintain the confidentiality of all Residents and Facility data

Skills and Qualifications:

·         Written and verbal communication skills

·         Strong attention to detail

·         Knowledge of medical terminology and conditions

·         Ability to prepare medication doses accurately

·         Patient, calm demeanor

·         Strong problem-solving skills
