CRMA Per-Diem Openings
Day Shift - 5:45am-6:15pm
Night Shift - 5:45pm-6:15am
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CRMA (Certified Residential Medication Aide) to join our team at Mount Joseph at Waterville, a leading assisted living facility in Waterville, Maine. As a CRMA Day Shift, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents by administering medications and treatments in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
Administer medications and treatments to residents in accordance with their individual care plans and under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration, including documentation of medication orders, administration, and any adverse reactions.
Monitor residents' conditions and reports any changes or concerns to the Residential Care Coordinator and/or licensed nurse.
Provide general assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
Participate in shift-to-shift reporting and communicate effectively with the direct care team to ensure a smooth transition of care.
Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control and prevention practices.
Respond to resident call bells and address needs in a timely and courteous manner.
Requirements
Be at least 18 years of age.
Hold a current, valid State of Maine department-approved 40-hour CRMA certification and PSS certification.
First aid and CPR certification required.
Demonstrate organizational skills, genuine interest in working with people, and good human relation skills.
Must have no physical or mental disability that would interfere with work performance.
Must complete a criminal history record check to the satisfaction of Mount Joseph at Waterville.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Working Conditions
Frequent standing and walking.
May be subject to prolonged standing, twisting, bending, and squatting throughout the day/shift.
May be subject to frequent interruptions, emotionally upset persons, injury from falls, burns, dust, odors, chemicals, and exposure to infectious waste and diseases.
