As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) - Skilled Nursing, you will play a vital role in assisting our nurse team in providing high-quality care to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, and providing emotional support to our residents. Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to residents as prescribed by their healthcare provider

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

  • Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes to the nurse team

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and medication administration

  • Collaborate with the nurse team to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents

  • Assist with taking vital signs and conducting basic assessments of residents

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in the state of Oklahoma

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Experience working in a long-term care setting preferred

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
