Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) travel assignment in Newark, NY, starting 09/01/2026 for several weeks on a 5x8 Evening shift. Work in a skilled nursing facility on a 41-bed short-term rehab unit focused on wound care (wound vacs), IV/PICC management, and nephrostomy care. NY license in hand required; EPIC charting experience preferred. This is a travel - temporary assignment with no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adults and geriatrics on a 41-bed short-term rehab unit, including wound care and IV/PICC management
- Perform nephrostomy care and operate wound vacs, IVs, drains, and dressing changes
- Care for post-operative orthopedic and cardiac patients; monitor HTN, CHF, renal function, and related needs
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, manage IV therapy, and document care in EPIC
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PT, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary) to coordinate patient care and safety

Requirements
- Active NY Licensed Practical Nurse license in hand
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience
- EPIC charting experience required
- BLS certification
- Wound care proficiency (wound vacs, IV/PICC management, nephrostomy care) and post-op ortho/cardiac exposure
- Ability to work in a 41-bed short-term rehab unit in a travel assignment
