Job Summary:

As a Home Care Aide with Home Helpers of the Northern Shenandoah Valley, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals in need. Our team of compassionate professionals is dedicated to providing essential support that allows our clients to maintain independence in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide non-medical care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
• Support clients with medication reminders and appointment scheduling
• Engage in conversations, play games, and participate in activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation
• Maintain accurate records of client care and communication with family members and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in the home care industry (or a related field)
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
• Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends

Salary: $14.5 - $18 HOURLY
