Job Summary

Winchester Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our skilled nursing team. As a CNA, you will assist residents with activities of daily living and provide essential support to nursing staff while helping ensure high-quality, compassionate, and resident-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) according to care plans and facility policies, including bathing, grooming, oral care, hair care, lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transferring.

  • Coordinate dining services, including meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and accurate documentation of intake.

  • Deliver nutritional supplements and assist residents as needed while documenting intake accurately.

  • Measure and record vital signs, weight, intake, and output.

  • Promptly report changes in residents' condition to the nurse and supervisor.

  • Monitor residents' skin condition and report pressure areas, skin breakdown, or skin tears to the nurse and supervisor.

  • Provide supportive services to nurses and other members of the care team as needed.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.

  • Complete accurate daily documentation.

  • Demonstrate flexibility when accepting different assignments.

  • Promote resident dignity, respect, safety, and comfort in all interactions.

Qualifications
  • Current, unencumbered Massachusetts CNA certification in good standing.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Must have no disciplinary actions against certification.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong critical-thinking skills.

  • Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and professionalism.

  • Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing excellent resident care.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
