We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to provide high-quality respiratory care to our residents. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will assess residents, administer treatments, monitor respiratory conditions, and collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
ResponsibilitiesAssess residents' respiratory conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Administer oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, and other prescribed respiratory services.
Provide tracheostomy care and support residents with complex respiratory needs.
Monitor residents' progress and promptly report changes to the appropriate clinical team members.
Maintain, inspect, and properly operate respiratory equipment.
Educate residents, families, and staff regarding respiratory treatments and equipment.
Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation.
Follow all federal, state, facility, and infection-control policies and procedures.
Participate in care planning and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
Promote safe, compassionate, and resident-centered respiratory care.
Current Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist license.
Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
Current CRT or RRT credential required.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or hospital settings preferred.
Experience with tracheostomy care and respiratory equipment preferred.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the position.
Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
