RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor residents’ vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Help with mobility and ensure residents are safe and comfortable during transfers.
- Document care provided and any changes in residents’ conditions in accordance with facility policies.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and their families.
- Assist with infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with nursing staff to create and implement care plans.
QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Must have High School Diploma or GED
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Must have a certificate and license as a CNA in the state of California in accordance with the law
Must have an active BLS through the American Heart Association
Must have an active CPR Certification
