About the Role:

As a Certified Medication Aide, you will be responsible for:

• Administering medications to residents in accordance with their treatment plans

• Providing assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Monitoring residents' vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff

• Maintaining accurate records of medication administration and resident activities

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care

Responsibilities:

• Medication Administration: Accurately administer medications to residents in accordance with their treatment plans and facility policies.
• Assistance with Daily Living Activities: Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily living activities to ensure residents' independence and dignity.
• Vital Sign Monitoring: Monitor residents' vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of medication administration, vital signs, and resident activities.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and achieve facility goals.

Requirements:

• Certification: Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

• Experience: Prior experience as a Certified Medication Aide or in a related healthcare field preferred
