At River Ridge Living Center, we pride ourselves on providing an upscale, gracious environment for our residents, and we're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team! Located in Amsterdam, New York, our state-of-the-art rehab facility offers a customized program of physical, occupational, and speech therapy, and we're looking for a CNA to assist our professional and licensed nurses in delivering high-quality care.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a part-time and full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for all shifts, including evening and overnight positions. As a CNA with River Ridge Living Center, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting a positive resident experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist professional and licensed nurses in carrying out the nursing plan and providing quality care to residents

• Provide direct patient care, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Helping with mobility and transfers

  • Administering medications and treatments as directed

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care

• Demonstrate a professional and positive attitude, with a compassionate and caring demeanor

• Have a valid C.N.A. for NYS

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CNA (experience preferred but not necessary)

• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of New York
