Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Newark Rehabilitation. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, including vital signs, personal care, and mobility assistance
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
Document patient care and concerns in a timely and accurate manner
Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to individualized care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Requirements
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Ohio
High school diploma or equivalent required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients with assistance as needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
