Speech-Language Pathologist (Pediatric Home Health)Job Summary
CommuniCare is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide pediatric speech and language services in natural environments, including clients’ homes, daycares, and schools, as well as via teletherapy. We are looking for clinicians who are passionate about helping children reach their communication goals while enjoying the flexibility to build a schedule that fits their lifestyle. Responsibilities and Duties- Provide speech-language evaluations and treatment for pediatric clients.
- Deliver therapy services in homes, daycares, schools, community settings, or through teletherapy as appropriate.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
- Document evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and other required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, physicians, and other professionals to support each child’s progress.
- Educate caregivers on strategies to encourage communication outside of therapy sessions.
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, Medicaid, and company documentation standards.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive clinical team.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred.
