Arcadia New England Home Care is currently hiring dedicated caregivers in Bethel, Oxford, and nearby areas to provide a variety of personal care services to a client in Gilead, Maine. This part-time opportunity includes 20.25 hours per week, with shifts available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Personal Care Aide (PSS or CNA) to provide high-quality, personalized care to clients in Gilead, Maine. As a Personal Care Aide, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. You will also provide companionship and emotional support to our clients, helping to enhance their overall well-being and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized care to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation

• Assist clients with daily living activities, such as mobility, transfers, and ambulation

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

• Monitor and report any changes in client condition to the nursing team

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 1-year experience in healthcare or related field (training provided for new hires)

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and transfer clients safely

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends

• Compassionate and caring attitude, with excellent communication skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
